Education is a vital factor to produce good quality generation to develop a country. The quality of education is qontingent on some factors, such as the system of education, the teacher's qualification, facilities, and curriculum.
ReplyDeletehowever, most of the school in Indonesia, especially in remote area, the main problem is lack of teachers due to they tend to be assigned in urban. Another issue is low standard facility to support the process of learning.
In order to improve facilities and motivate the teachers to teach in rural, the role of government is very neccesary. Government should equalize the standard of facilities of the school between in urban and rural. In addittion, to motivate the teacher by providing better facilities and salary could be the best way.
Moreover,the curriculum also plays important role as the guide to achieve appropriate standard of education globally. As a result of competition and globalization.
In conclusion, there are several ways to improve the quality of education to be able to produce qualified human resources in the future.
Education is important sector for everyone, it will give a better live for someone's future and a nation. There are several ways to improve the educational system in my country. The first one is fixing the the system of education. For many years, Indonesians have been using the teacher's centered method. I personally believe, this system is already failure in producing good quality graduates because teachers have never given a chance for the students to express their thoughts.
ReplyDeleteNext is a well educated teachers.Great teachers will give more efforts to teach their students eventhough they are lack of materials. Furthermore, they will inovate another system which more suitable for their students.
Last but not the least is coorditions among parents and teachers. Both sides must have been responsible to support the education system, so the improvements can easily achieved.
Since education is becoming more significant worldwide, we need to look at ways to improve the education system.
ReplyDeleteIt is true that well-selected teachers are regarded as the most important factor. I agree that there will be many benefits of having well-selected teachers, like improving the quality of education in short time. Usually, they who are the best-chosen people have great knowledge, skill and creativity which is very useful for teaching.
Moreover, keep changing the curriculum once in a decade will be effective to give new atmosphere for teachers and system. It is undeniable that everything keeps changing, including the methodologies and approaches in teaching. Where long time ago, teachers only taught using books and blackboards, compare to present many schools are already using e-books and website in teaching.
Furthermore, providing facilities is also very important, because the technology grows rapidly recently, and this condition may bring many advantages for education. I personally believe that, the education will be improved by having well-selected teachers and well-provided facilities at schools.
That is why, many advanced countries education is much better than developing countries.
In short, there many ways to improve the system of education. The success of it will depend on how people can work on it. What is more, appropriate aids is also another essential aspect in reaching goal of education to better in future.
I think we, as educational practitioners, have to make lots of effort to improve the quality of education in Indonesia. This is because the standard of the education system is still poor. One of the reasons is because the changing of minister of education also has changed the educational system. There are some crucial aspects that need to be enhanced namely the quality of teachers and the curriculum.
ReplyDeleteFirstly, teachers have to be selected not only based on their academic background but also from their performance in teaching. I know this because I experienced poor instruction. They discouraged me to learn by giving a physical and verbal punishment in front of peers.
The next major area to be improved is the class material. There is a discrepancy between what is a taught and real-world skill that the students need. For example, I have been taught English that was basically focused on grammar; I found it difficult to interact with Westerners even though I know the language.
