  4. Personally, I think it’s better to work in a large company rather than a small company.
In terms of the reputation, a large company has already established their name in their sector.
It is honor when the company has been recognized worldwide. As a member of staff we can be proud to be one of them. We can build our career as a lot of opportunities might be offered to enhance employee skills.

In terms of job perspectives, a large company has various units or departments where each member of staff can coordinate with each other to run the business. There is a lot of new stuff for those who want to explore their skills as well as to gain further knowledge. A large company also offers better salary to their employees depending on their qualification.
In addition to better salary, there is also benefit given to their employees. I think the benefit would only not cover to the staff but also to the family members.

In order to enhance the staff productivity, there might be a lot of training to be offered to their staff. It would help staff to build the skills in their respective area. Normally HR will appoint professional consultants to do the training.

  6. Is it better to work for a large company or for a small company.

In my opinion it is better to work in large companies rather than small companies. Normally small companies are not well established and they don’t take good care of the employees’ welfare and benefits. Usually the increment and the bonuses are lesser compared to the effort and strength rendered by the employees.

The small companies are more to business and solely profit making mentality rather then employee oriented. Their focus is to make money as much as possible and might close down at any time.

I prefer to work with a large companies which as the vision and mission towards excellent growth. They provide good benefit and perks to all employees’. They are more organized and employee oriented.

The company structure is well maintained and properly organizes by professional top management. Large companies provide good bonuses and increments for those perform well. We don’t have to worry about retrenchment and down sizing.

Large companies will provide sufficient training for employees’ career growth. Employees’ with good track record and outstanding performance will be promoted accordingly.

I prefer to work with larger and establish companies rather then the small companies. I feel everyone interested and keen in working with large companies compared to a small companies.

  7. In my personal view, I prefer to work in a large company.

On the norm, the large company, which provides an electronic working environment,is willing to spend for technology
advancement, ie, upgrade to latest IT software and hardware. The staff not only have the opportunity to use computer
for their daily job, but also are able to communicate via internet for their personal stuff. They can interact with
friends, internet banking, online purchase etc. However, these facilities which are expensive may not be provided in
a small company. As a result, the staff may not keep up to pace with the latest computer knowledge.

The large company offers the job rotation opportunity. As it has various department, the staff is given the chance
to move from one department to another department. The staff can opt to stay with one company for years. Given the
staff is inmobility - married with children or aged, it reduces the hassle of looking for a new job. However, a staff,
who works in small company, is not given such an opportunity.

Also, the large company offers a better working exposure, for instance, on the job training, secondment to oversea
    sister company etc.
